This is what happens when you do Mortgage Fraud!

Back in July I posted about a local Mortgage Broker who was being convicted of mortgage fraud. I have gotten several comments from friends of his that he was innocent and his name was just being taken through the mud. Well today in the paper this is what I found:

U.S. District Judge William Dimitrouleas said Anthony Dehaney, 57, led a plan that cost banks millions and his sentence should send a signal to others tempted to skirt the law "to make a quick easy buck."

The sentence--among the toughest to date in a mortgage fraud case--exceeds a prosecutor's recommendation for a roughly five-year prison term. Dehaney, a Jamaican national, will likely be deported after completing his sentence, said prosecutor Jeffrey Kay.

So it goes to show that mortgage fraud is not being taken lightly! Not only was the mortgage broker convicted, so was the agent he was working with.

So play it straight, its the only way to go!

ActiveRain you've done it AGAIN!

ActiveRain You've done it again. While I was in the hospital the other day, I got an email for AR. I first I glanced over it thinking it was a Lead for the lead genarotor AR has, but when I looked over it again it wasn't.

Here is was the email stated:

Hi Jeannette,

I am seeking a realtor to sell my condo in Las Terrazas in Miramar,FL. I read your profile and liked what I saw. You seem to be hardworking and easy to work with. If you are interested in working with me, let me know ASAP, because I am trying to get it sold ASAP.

I was delighted with the email. I responded the same day, but not right away, since at first glanced I missed it. But here was my responce, very simple and to the point:

Good morning and thank you for your interest in me.

I would love to work with you and getting your condo sold. Let me know when you would like to get together.

If you could let me know what your address is so I could do some research?

Look for forward to working with you.

Jeannette

I got her responce a day later:

Hi Jeannette,

Thanks for getting  back with me.

I currently live in Orlando,FL and the condo is occupied with a renter who's contract will be done Feb.1st. We will not renew contract with her. I am interested in selling the condo and if unable to, with this current market, I will continue renting it.

The address: Las Terrazas Community

Let me know what you advise. The earliest we can meet is Saturday, Jan 3 rd,2009.

Sincerely your

Joanne Celestin

Now mind you, most of my post are LOCALISM post, her recent contact was from a JUST SOLD post. I LOVE Localism. I think it's my favorite part of AR, besides the Friendships I have created here!Localism

Are you using LOCALISM? If not you should! Take it from me, I have gotten several leads from it!

Have a GREAT 2009 year, I know I will!

I'm sure you are wondering?

I'm sure some of  you have been wondering what happened to me. Last week on Sunday I had tweeted I was admitted to the hospital with severe abdominal pain. I had it for two days, was not able to walk and all.

So here is what happen. I went in around 9 am with such bad pain that the ER doctor couldn't even exam me. Within the hour I had an x-ray, ultrasound, and CT done. Which in a ER is very fast! Came back from all the test and the doctor tried again and I couldn't take it. He then admitted me. Started me on pain meds and antibiotics.

Several doctors were consulted. GYN, Surgery, GI, Infectious Disease, and  a Primary. All trying to figure out what was wrong. On Monday I was being told I would have to have surgery. But by Tuesday morning when I was going to have it, the doctor tells me he doesn't think it has anything to do with my female productive parts. That I need to have a colonoscopy. So surgery was canceled and GI was called again. They also agreed that I need it but it wasn't going to be done till after Christmas. I told them if that was the case then please send me home. I don't want to miss Christmas with my kids.

Now I was to call Midori before I was to go into suregery and hadn't gotten around to it. She was about to go postal on me! She was going to post here on the network when she finally got the call from me!

So I was discharged and now I need to have my procedure done after the New Year. So when that is done I will update you then.

Thank You for all your wishes and concerns. Enjoy your Holidays!

Finally Good news!

OK so I got a couple of emails wondering whether or not I closed today. It was fishy for awhile whether or not it was going to happen. Again back and forth I was between the title company and the lawyers office. Not the lawyer of course!

But indeed I got an email that the final documents were back from the sellers (bank) and were all signed! The lawyer signed the HUD statements and we are good.

WE CLOSED!!! YEAH BABY! Now I need to go through this all over again for my client/ customer's brother who we are getting ready to close on Thursday the 18 of this month!

So wish me luck for that one and we are done with this one! I am so happy, its my daughter's birthday, she's back home and it ended on a great note!

Happy Birthday Anissa!

iXplore The World

Today is my daughter's birthday. She has been in New York for a week now and is coming home today. I have been making preprations for her. I re did her room from top to bottom. Took me all weekend to do it, and did the finishing touches today.

She spent the week with her cousins, who she terribly misses. So when my mother in law said she was going to NY and would it be possible to take her both myself and my husband were more than happy to, figure it would be a great birthday wish.

We spoke everyday about what she was doing and all. I kept asking her, did it snow today, with a sigh she said no! Then while she was on the plane boarding I get a phone call from her MOMMY ITS SNOWING, I GOT TO SEE SNOW!!!!

She turns 6 today and she is my pride and joy! I am blessed with a beautiful daughter!

So Happy Birthday Sweetheart! Anissa ButterflyAnissa

Butterfly World ~ Holiday of Lights

Last month I posted about a bike ride through Butterfly World for the Holiday of LIghts. We never made it to it. It was to cold that night and the kiddos were sick.

So we decided the other night to take the car and drive through it. I loved the kids reactions. They have never been through it before and loved all the different lights that were up.

Of course I recorded some of it for you. How could I not!

And to All a Good Night

I wish you all a very Happy Holiday!!
