OK I am an iPhone user and LOVE IT!! The only problem I had was not being able to access the MLS since the phone is not IE.
But our board (South Broward Board of Realtors) have somehow came up with something new and great. It's MLX Wireless. At first I glanced over it the other day when I logged on. I thought I can't use this, so I closed the window.
I logged on again today and it popped up again. So I read further and in one of the drop down menus for phones there was the iPhone. I thought can this be for real?
You guess right. I regirsterd and within seconds I get an email saying registration complete. And sure enough I can search the MLS from the phone!!!
You have no idea how excited I am about this. And on top of it, its fro FREE!!!! Our board is suppling this for free! I'm LOVING IT!
So if you think you can't get the iPhone because you can't access the MLS, now you can think twice. YEAH BABY! Nothing can slow me down now. I don't have to wait till I get home or to the office to do a quick search when I am out with clients. I can pull out the phone and do it right htere and then.
So what do you think? Does your board help you with this?

Hi Jeannette, That's GREAT! Our MLS has a PDA site that I am able to use with my iPhone, but it displays limited information. Now, I'll be on the lookout to see if our board changes! Thanks for the encouraging news!
You know, I've been contemplating buying the new iphone. Before I do, I'm going to check if my board provides that.

That is great! Our board has a mobile site for PDAs and Smartphones, but the info is really limited like Emily's board. We can't get iPhones here (boonies for cell phones, only two companies), but I use an iTouch. I'll be on the lookout for something from our board too!

I am not an iphone user because I have verizon. However, that is great that they helped you access the MLS. I am waiting to get the new blackberry!

The i-phone rocks huh?! I have had the first i-phone, sold those on craigslist and purchased the latest 3G when it came out in July. There is nothing like this phone and it's capabilities.
